GASIFICATION

Gasification is a process that converts fossil or biomass fuel-based carbonaceous materials into gases.

The future depends on
what we do in the present.

– Mahtma Gandhi

„All the darkness of the world
cannot extinguish
the light of a single candle.“

– Konfuzius

Gasification consists of five discrete thermal processes: drying, pyrolysis, combustion, cracking and reduction. These processes are also present in the flame of a burning match, which can be seen as it burns down.

These processes mix in such a way that they are invisible to eyes that are not yet privy to the mysteries of the gasification.

Gasification is just the technology to pull these separate processes apart and isolate them so that we can interrupt the “fire” and direct the resulting gases to another location.
